Radar: Film Station at Metal, Edge Hill

With a summer of blockbusters just around the corner and a new Odeon about to dominate the Liverpool skyline, there is an alternative and it’s only one stop from Lime Street at Edge Hill Train Station.

If there’s a classic film you’d love to watch or if you’re trying to create your own, Liverpool favourite arts hub Metal have created Film Station, a free film night showcasing classic movies and local shorts at the oldest passenger railway station in the world.

Drop into the station and relax in the beautiful Victorian cinema seats, donated by previous artists in residence and Liverpool Art Prize winners Al and Al, for a uniquely intimate and free cinema experience.

The new film season starts on Friday 30th March with a Kubrick classic Paths of Glory, starring Kirk Douglas, a film about WWI soldiers who refuse to continue with an impossible attack.
